Project Summary
The PSEG Keys Energy Center, owned by PSEG Fossil, a subsidiary of PSEG Power, began construction in 2015 of a new clean, natural gas-fired, power plant in Prince George’s County, Maryland; starting operations in May 2018. The site is located north of North Keys Road approximately 1.25 miles east of Brandywine, Maryland.

Customer Challenges
Improve inventory management of scaffold material and lower costs.

Scope of Work
GSS was contracted by SNC Lavalin to provide front end Scaffolding Design, Estimating, Installation Work Packaging and Asset Management Services for the Keys Energy Center project.

Impact
GSS successfully delivered the onsite management of over 4,134 scaffold requests, 812 tons identified, front end designed and work packaged. Resulting in 1,782 total scaffolds erected utilizing a total of 120,245 safe work hours.
GSS successfully managed over 900 ton of client owned ring lock material.
